I remember creating art with random objects as a kid. Toilet paper and paper towel rolls seem to be a big thing in DIY circles right now. And I decided to make some random object art with a TP roll, but do it much nicer than I did as a kid.
Supplies: TP roll, two colors of paint, a foam brush and a canvas
Start by painting your entire canvas in one color, usually the darker color. I used dark green.
I let it dry for an hour, just so I wasn’t putting my hand in dark green paint. I then took my lighter color paint, a mint color, and spread it out on a paper plate. Then I dipped the edge of the TP roll into the paint.
Starting in one corner of the canvas, start stamping the circles across the canvas.
Not all the circles are dark, some get lighter. It looks pretty cool when finished. I did get a little messy toward the right side of the canvas because of spacing. But I still like it. It’s totally something you could do with the kids too. Let them be a little abstract. You could use paper instead of canvas.
Found you from thirtyhandmadedays. Love this project. I’m not too crafty, but I am trying it! Thanks!
Let me know how it goes!
